There are letters, sketches of fish, and other documents that pertain to Innes' interest in exotic fishes for home aquariums and their care. There is information on the journal Aquarium which he founded in 1932, and minute books of the Aquarium Society of Philadelphia, 1898-1912 (3 vol.). The most voluminous professional correspondence is with George S. Myers, and there is some family correspondence.
