Blue and white ironstone plate with central 3/4 portrait of Benjamin Franklin in a fur hat. "THE PENNSYLVANIA SOCIETY / BENJAMIN FRANKLIN / 1706-1906" around inner perimeter. Decorative border with seal of the Pennsylvania Society, arms of the State of Pennsylvania and New York, and the Franklin arms, surrounded by fruit and leaves around outer perimeter.

Victorian bookcases of walnut and glass. Each has a recessed upper section of two or three pairs of glazed and cockbeaded cabinet doors which enclose walnut shelves beaneath a plain cyma-recta cornice. Below is a based hinged with a conforming arrangement of short-door inset panels of incised double borders within conforming cockbead bezels. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Federal mahogany sideboard. Overhanging rectangular top surmounted on the sides and back by a shallow and domical-shaped splashboard. The front consists of a single deep drawer above a deep scooped apron flanked by twin banks of six graduated drawers, all of which have cockbeaded edges and ringed round brass pulls. There are short ringed slender legs of compressed ovoid section on button feet. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Each andiron has ringed and paneled ovoid knob, raised on elaborately shaped standard on paneled and ringed sections which rest on pair of Baroque-style scroll legs of compressed bombe outline which are raised on four small bulbous feet; rail is raised on round leg surmounted with conforming brass knob. Part of a fireplace set with fender (2009.52), tongs (2009.53), and shovel (2009.54). (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Mahogany and glass bookcase, lacking original base. The upper section has a plain cornice molding above a set of four eight-panel glazed doors with Gothic arch top panels, enclosing wooden shelves above a shallow bracket foot of a later date.

Federal drop-leaf Pembroke table. Hinged oval drop-leaf is above drawered bow front and conforming mock-drawer reverse, flanked by light-wood inlaid corners simulating fluting. Square tapered legs have stringed borders and cross-band cuffs. Depicted in "Blue Book, Philadelphia Furniture." (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Marble base with arrangement of bronze objects: two books, wreath, rolled manuscript with "Lois de Pennsylvania" in script and Benjamin Franklin medal. Medal contains bas-relief profile portrait of Benjamin Franklin with "BENJ. FRANKLIN NATUS BOSTON. XVII JAN. MDCCVI" around perimeter. "DUPRÉ F." on edge of bust.

Empire mahogany upholstered reclining chair of Roman curule form with rounded X-form profile of opposing scrolls which flair backward slightly along tall back. Arms roll downward into comma-shaped open scrolls which contrast with scroll of seat. X-shaped, curved legs are of square section and end in casters. Medallion is separate from chair, but rests on top. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Each chair has a curved and backward-scrolled crest rail inlaid with a plain reserve of highly figured mahogany veneer and raised above a slender slat of opposed S-scrolls, terminating in rosettes and leafage upon a reeded crossbar. The tapered rounded stiles continue along the upholstered slip-seat and slender rail and are raised on plain sabre legs. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Philadelphia Classical drop-leaf pedestal table. Rectangular overhanging top, hinged with boldly scalloped shallow drop-leaves which are raised on hinged swing-supports flanking a cockbeaded frieze drawer, with brass pull at each end above cockbeaded edge moldings and protruding corners suspended with stepped ring drops. These rest on an urn-form pedestal raised on molded sabre legs ending in brass paw-feet. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Great Seal of Pennsylvania. Large wax double-sided seal. Obverse: Penn family crest. Above crest: "[M]ERC[Y]." Below crest: "[J]VST[I]C[E]." Around perimeter: "[W]ILLIAM [PEN]N PROPRIAT[O]R [AND] GOVER[NOR] [OF] [PEN]NSILVANIA." Reverse: At center, three ears of corn, forming a trefoil, alternating with three sticks entwined with grapevines. Around inner perimeter: "TRUTH [PE]ACE [L]OVE AND PLE[NTY] 1699." Ring of wheat around outer perimeter.

Emblematic painting of American Union. Figure of Hercules astride an arch with thirteen plaques representing the original 13 colonies from north to south. Hercules figure wears skirt of eagle feathers, lion head cap, lion skin and holds a club in left hand. Pennsylvania is at center of arch. Inscribed, lower left: "Marbois Invenit."
