Victorian bookcases of walnut and glass. Each has a recessed upper section of two or three pairs of glazed and cockbeaded cabinet doors which enclose walnut shelves beaneath a plain cyma-recta cornice. Federal mahogany sideboard. Overhanging rectangular top surmounted on the sides and back by a shallow and domical-shaped splashboard. The front consists of a single deep drawer above a deep scooped apron flanked by twin banks of six graduated drawers, all of which have cockbeaded edges and ringed round brass pulls. There are short ringed slender legs of compressed ovoid section on button feet. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Each andiron has ringed and paneled ovoid knob, raised on elaborately shaped standard on paneled and ringed sections which rest on pair of Baroque-style scroll legs of compressed bombe outline which are raised on four small bulbous feet; rail is raised on round leg surmounted with conforming brass knob.
