Federal mahogany sideboard. Overhanging rectangular top surmounted on the sides and back by a shallow and domical-shaped splashboard. The front consists of a single deep drawer above a deep scooped apron flanked by twin banks of six graduated drawers, all of which have cockbeaded edges and ringed round brass pulls. There are short ringed slender legs of compressed ovoid section on button feet. (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).

Each andiron has ringed and paneled ovoid knob, raised on elaborately shaped standard on paneled and ringed sections which rest on pair of Baroque-style scroll legs of compressed bombe outline which are raised on four small bulbous feet; rail is raised on round leg surmounted with conforming brass knob. Part of a fireplace set with fender (2009.52), tongs (2009.53), and shovel (2009.54). (Murphy D. Smith, "Due Reverence," 1992).
