This work had been bound originally with Daudin's "Histoire naturelle des rainettes ..." During the fall of 1938 Dr. Francis Harper, of the Academy of Natural Sciences, becoming suspicious of the added number of pages and plates given on the old catalogue card examined them carefully and found them to be this very rare work by Daudin. Dr. Harper believes there is no other copy in America. The Paris Museum possesses only Liv.1 (12 p., 6 pl.)
