This guide provides comprehensive coverage of the Native American and Indigenous archival collections at the Library of the American Philosophical Society. These materials date from 1553 to the present and include manuscript, audio, and visual materials relating to indigenous peoples throughout the Americas.

Each entry in the guide provides an overview of the content about a particular culture or language found in a collection, as well as information on how to locate that material in the finding aid for the collection.
