 Abstract:  This collection contains photocopies of correspondence from Victor Marie Du Pont Nemours, the brother of the patriarch of the DuPont family. Victor was a French diplomat who immigrated to Delaware in the early nineteenth century and became involved in politics and the family business. The correspondence is primarily from Dupont. The originals are held at Longwood Library, now the Hagley Museum.
