 Abstract:  This slender manuscript volume contains a transcription of a dictionary of the Huron compiled by Sagard Gabriel in the early 17th century. The document was transcribed and given to Peter DuPonceau in the 19th century for his work on Native American languages. It is in French with an occasional marginalia note in English.
