 Title:  Quit rent rolls,1688/9, 1788-1793
 Dates:  1688-1798
Abstract:  The Penn Family Estates Collection consists of two volumes that contain quitrent data for land the Penns owned. The first is what appears to be a copy of a rent roll from 1688/1689. It lists names of individuals and their status (first purchaser, renter, etc.) and their tax information. The second is a large ledger book from 1788 that contains the names of individuals in Lancaster County who apparently leased land still owned by the Penn family.
