3 sound tape reels (6 hr., 34 min.) : analog, 3 3/4 ips, 2 track, mono ; 7 in.

Provenance

Donated by Margaret Langdon in 1970. This material was recorded with the assistance of a Phillips Fund grant.

Processing information

The final 35 minutes of tape 2 contain material identical to the first three programs on tape 3 but is of poorer quality and so was not digitized. Tape 1, track 2 begins with 32 minutes of silence that was not transferred when the material was migrated to DAT format. Tape 2, track 2 switches program speed from 3 3/4 ips to 7 1/2 ips from 4:50 to 6:21. Adjustment was made during transfer to DAT.

Collection digitized and cataloged by Brian Carpenter during the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation funded audio digitization project, 2008-2014.
