Abstract

Interviews and discussions with Dorothy Jackson, Mari Watters, and Julia Pablo on a variety of topics, including personal and musical experiences, songs and dances (including lullaby, flute, war dances, women's dances, soup dance, dance for picking up the feather, personal medicine songs), Nez Perce flute, Seven Drum religion, Protestant hymns, gender roles, and "Songs from the Warm Springs Indian Reservation."
