Abstract

These are files concerning the Protomedicato, which was the Board of the King's Physician, or medical court, that regulated the medical profession in the Spanish colonies. There are additional files on this topic from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma. Also included on the film are documents relating to the Hospital Real de Indios.
