Abstract

Selections from 31 volumes from the Massachusetts State Archives, these materials include letters and papers from the official records of provincial Massachusetts. Many relate to the Six Nations in New York, and to French activity and influence among the Indians. Contains references to the treaties at Albany with the Six Nations, the western boundary of Massachusetts, the Stockbridge removal, and the sack of Deerfield by Caughnawaga Mohawks.
