The collection documents trading activities with the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw and Creek Nations and is a key source of information for the study of the origins and development of the Seminole Indians. It details the activities of Panton, Leslie & Co. and also the international conflicts affecting the Southeast during this time.
