Abstract

This represents some of his early pioneering work on the effect of x-rays on the development of embryos.

Background note

James Howard McGregor was a zoologist and taught zoology at Columbia University (1924-1942). He was also a member of the staff at Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, Massachusetts (1899-1906).
