Abstract:
Life-sized, undraped bust of a male with no base. The head is turned slightly to the left. The hair is curled, ending just below the ears. Cast in back of shoulders: "Biddle." Brass tag on front: "NICHOLAS BIDDLE/ 1786-1844." Attributed to E. Luigi Persico.
