Abstract:
Meehan (1898: 25) reports this as an unidentified specimen of Prunus. The label states: "A smaller Shrub than the Choak cherry [see next entry, No. 155], the natives count it a good fruit. On the Kooskooskie." The collection was made on 29 May 1806 when the expedition was near Kamiah in Idaho Co., Idaho (Moulton, 1991: 302-308).
